I wanted to highlight the issues surrounding violence towards GLBT People in countries such as Iran, Sudan and West Africa.

As somebody who is herself very much queer identified,
I've been appalled and shocked hearing about such things.

I was unsure how to approach this, so I took a series of deliberately grainy photos which I wanted to look old and poorly lit, perhaps from a kidnapping in an old building. thankfully I had just painted my house at the time, so the half finished wall did perfect.

My partner heather was happy to model..
perhaps a little to happy though >_>

This is my first attempt at a pre-planned photo-shoot with a person..so I was unsure how it would come out.
